saxon market tent 4 x 6 mThe Viking tent is based on several early medieval images. Tents of this kind were employed by Vikings, Saxons and Normans between the 8th and 12th centuries. Owing to the large awning, the tent is well suited to use as a trade tent at a festival, or as a reenactment tent. By opening the awning, one can sit sheltered from the sun and rain, whilst still not missing anything from the festival or event. The tent measures 4 x 6 m and stands up to 3 m

it may also be worn comfortably on warm days

The pourpoint was originally developed as a variant of the gambeson but was later also worn in an unpadded version as everyday clothing

The grip is constructed from suede leather and does not feature a nock on which arrows may be placed

and the fabric was already recognised in Roman times for its quality and distinctive appearance

and is fitted with rivets for additional strength
