There is a really lovely inner mouth perfumed to the equally spicy and pure largebodied flavors that possess excellent mid-palate density and simply superb focus on the hugely long finish

with a touch of mocha despite the lack of new oak

lilac and rose petal along with hints of Granny Smith apples and lemongrass

the wine manages to offer its forward

it's nevertheless neither overly heavy nor rich

this is a clear notch up in elegance and is clearly finer with an ultra high-toned floral and spice-infused nose that is almost completely closed in though this may be due to a subtle touch of reduction and I would suggest decanting this if you’re going to try a bottle young

it was a shorter crop and they produced less bottles than the average

The harvest date returned once more to that of tradition

it offers up an ethereal perfume of smoke

polished cherries and earthy accents

I like the balance as well as the well-integrated structure that should enable this to offer 7 to 9 years of improvement
