Victorian Pearl Trilogy RingSplendid Victorian trilogy ring set with three natural pearls. The stones rest in individual square settings and the shoulders are trifurcated, reminiscent of a lotus in a possible nod to the Egyptian Revivalists. It's crafted in 18 carat gold exquisite pseudo prong openwork to the gallery, and it dates from the 1890s. Trilogy rings are believed to have originated in ancient Egypt, where they were thought to represent the three phases of the sun
