Barouillet, Bergecrac Rouge, Bergerac, France 2022, 750ml 13.5% ABV25% Cabernet Franc 25% Cabernet Sauvignon 20% Malbec 25% Merlot 5% Merille Notes of Plum, Blackberry, Vanilla and Smoke. Some weight coming in from the Cabernet Sauvignon with the Merlot giving it some velvety tannins. A 40 hectare estate, fully organic since 2013. The 8th generation to work at the estate; Vincent Alexis joined his father in 2010 and talked him into bottling their own wines instead of selling them for bulk blending. 25ha are white.
