The tannins are sweet and balanced against the wine's inner fruit flavors

This old school effort is running out of fruit faster than the structure is resolving so I would suggest drinking up

and assorted black fruits lead to a savory

Given how precocious it seems just nowit certainly won't make your mouth turn immediately to cotton and your tongue seize upthe fruit is so good that some will dare to drink it now

The 2006 Barolos are nothing short of spectacular and the 2007s may be even better

Mineral- and smoke-accented blackberry and blueberry on the intensely perfumed nose and in the mouth

There is superb complexity and fantastic length and this mineral-driven effort should be capable of drinking well after only 12 years or so of bottle age but require a solid 20 before it’s completely mature

It will continue to evolve in bottle over the next decade
