The veteran, whose name will be provided to the buyer, was with the ship PCS1457 in Pacific wartime operations. PCS 1457 supported the recapture of the Marianas, specifically Guam and Tinian landings

Please note that the police insignia is missing on this bayonet

Petropoulos follows the story of the House of Hesse through to its tragic denouement

and has the USMA embossed on the front

The pin is marked  K

There are two slides of the same pattern

but the text is clear

There are large pockets on each side of the interior

but this is slight
