There is even better volume and power to the muscular and lightly mineral inflected flavors that culminate in a compact, dusty and very serious finale. This appears to be quite promising though note well that at least moderate patience is advised.

It opens dramatically as it airs in the glass and will benefit from time in a decanter

but it has the lifting finesse and mineral freshness of the 2004 ingredient

The citrus character continues onto the rich

concluding with an elegantly precise finish

Like its white counterpart from the 2009 vintage

I quite like this and the sense of harmony is pronounced

There is excellent energy and focused power to the muscular medium-bodied flavors that are even more mineral-driven before culminating in a youthfully austere

The 2009 Branon has a pure bouquet with black cherries

A wonderfully complex earthy and spicy dark berry fruit nose leads to delicious

The nose has nicely defined cedar and black pepper with hints of struck match and bacon

Here the expressive nose mixes primarily floral notes with hints of citrus
