Sea and Ships pavilion at the Festival of Britain 1951The Sea and Ships Pavilion at the Festival of Britain was situated alongside the river near Hungerford Bridge. Wolfgang Suschitzky photographed the visitors teeming through the nets of the fishing display in this Pavilion. The souvenir stall in the centre of the picture would have sold an array of commemorative products, from books to ceramics to replicas of the festival's structural highlight the Skylon.
