Victorian Garnet and Pearl ring, 15ct gold, engravedA beautiful Victorian Garnet and pearl boat head ring in 15ct gold. A real stunner, the band and shoulders on this piece are finely engraved all the way around. Centre front takes centre stage with a row of rich and deep red, faceted round cut garnets, above and below the garnets is a row of creamy seed pearl which contrast with the red and golds rich tones beautifully. The ring is fully hallmarked, some hallmark is partial due to a previous resize,

It is made from steel with a dog clip fastener and flat smooth curb links

The silver gilt frame is set with old rough cut diamond chips

encompassed in rich 15ct yellow gold with gold beads and engraving

some wear / rusting to the metal holding the bale

It is made up of a lovely chunky brick link in unmarked sterling silver

this can be removed to store a small lock of hair or tiny mementoIt appears to have been enamelled at some stage with some remnants very slightly visible around the star motif
