Rare Historical Copper Thin Fire Brick Slab (Smelter Brick)This is one of 2 nearly identical gem quality slabs of firebrick from the old smelters in Michigan measuring 3 long x 3 1 4 wide and 1 16 thick and each weighs 2oz. The brick absorbed the metal during the smelting process and some were saved prior to being permanently buried after the decommissioning of the smelters.
