'Love the Queen Victoria 1839'-an inscribed bobbin.An inscribed mutton bone lace bobbin inscribed horizontally in alternating red and black lettering 'Love the Queen Victoria 1839'. It has an old spangle with five glass beads. 11cm long. The colouring has faded towards the tail end but the lettering is still easy to read. No damage usable. Stock no. LJ48D

In good condition-no damage but with chips on the base made during manufacture where the columns are fixed

It is edged with patterned gold paper and has pink paper on the base

The handles are variant which may be deliberate so as to easily identify which is which when in a writing box -the tooling is identical

It was probably made as a replacement mustard spoon in a canteen as it is in the old style and has a crest in the form of a hound
