German WWII NSRL Athletic Team PatchGerman WWII NSRL Athletic Team Patch This patch is handsome but a bit salty looking. It would have been worn on the sleeve of an athletic shirt or jacket. It is very rare since this is constructed in a high quality thick red and white thread. This is beautifully constructed in multiple pieces, with the white swastika imposed over the regal black eagle. The patch is shaped as a shield. It is rare to find them on this red felt, with the white felt trim.

the 185 pages are very clean

The black painted scabbard looks very good

This is machine embroidered and other than some slight age toning

There is a single brown enamel ventilation grommet on each side

The cover is a beautiful color painting of Field Marshall Paul von Hindenburg

It is clean but one side has a significant amount of moth damage

In the "old days"

The nickel grip eagle and enameled runic button are both excellent

The interior is marked with an RBNr and size stampings

A majority of the body is lined in brown pony fur which does have some small sections missing
