Marchand & Tawse, Meursault(from En La Barre and LOrmeau). A very Meursault nose grudgingly reveals its aromas of grilled nut, brown butter, acacia blossom and pear. The rich, generously proportioned and seductively textured medium bodied flavors display evident salinity on the bone dry, intense and sneaky long finish. This is also a fine villages.
This is not an elegant Corton-Charlemagne but it is seriously impressive nonetheless

Fireworks on the nose but a bit lean and reductive on the finish
citrus and something a bit truffley too
There is a velvety
although Cabernet Sauvignon struggled to achieve full ripeness
