The first ever linocut print I made was of him, back in 2002, and this set me on the path to being a printmaker. I'm very grateful to him, so I felt the urge to create a portrait of him. I had also created a smaller print called 'Otto Sleeping' (now sold out), but this time he is awake and feeling regal! The poster is a professional digital print

The beauty of this design is how the bees create wonderful shapes as the wings touch

They actually look quite different from each other when you study their detail
