In 2008 Gracie modified her style and this resulted in the colours of her works being much more vivid and bold

The colour she uses is dramatic yet balanced

then moved to Watiyawanu (Mt Liebig approx 325 km west of Alice Springs) and today still spends most of her time there with her well-known artist husband Norman Kelly

During the stretching process

lightly coloured lines that represent the hair string skirts of the ‘Kungka Kutjarra’ or Two Women who feature prominently in Pintupi ancestral stories
