The bowl is flawless aside from a small dent in the brass backing on one side (as shown in the photos). The Bon March was a legendary Seattle based department store. It was common for "The Bon" to commission or import high quality, private label housewares and decorative items from Japanese and European manufacturers

The figure was originally designed to hold a rider (Khandoba) or a pricket candlestick

The mask features the characteristic hand-carved details and painted finishes common in Mesoamerican folk art
