The vines were planted in 1959 and 1998

featuring notes of oyster shell

melons and nectarines followed by a touch of smoky oak finishing with fine salinity and a touch of white pepper

The vineyard of this 1er Cru “Les Petits Vougeot” is ideally located just below the Musigny Grand Cru

there are indeed waves of white fruit just infused with flecks of minerality

It is a complex wine that would benefit from a few years of cellaring
