Exquisite Small Moroccan SeamI found this material buried in dusty barrels at a Gem show, it was just blocks of gray rock. When I made the first cut, I was shocked at the incredible contrasting colors. This is the first cabochon I made and love the high polish finish this hard stone takes. This beautiful stone keeps it hot red, orange and yellow agate in seams between broken and healed chunks of blue and with dolomite and calcite. Material is mined in and around various locations
