This is a really good quality reproduction of an Edwardian example (stamped 1905 on the handle) but this Gothic revival style was popular from the mid Victorian period and onwards. Based on an original reclaimed by the manufacturer.. The finish on this one is an antiques nickel but it can be polished back to shiny. The pull is designed to sit on the outside wall or frame next to the front
