HematiteThis is a nice representative thumbnail specimen from one of the most storied and well known districts in Colorado. This particular specimen features botryoidal Hematite groups forming a good, full sized thumbnail. The main group is undamaged

but the piece sits very well on its own without the aid of a base or clay

This piece is from one of the first pockets that Rich opened when he started mining the Sweet Home with my grandfather

white scalenohedra of Calcite which are gently “dusted” with sparkling golden Pyrite in select areas
