The male Scarlet Mormon's topsides are mostly black with a little bit of grey, while the female of the species has red and light grey on their topsides. Both are just as romantic and vampiric!

The aqua green stripes on either side are extremely iridescent and are gorgeous on their own

Undersides are lighter in color and beautiful as well

The females however have a thicker

more pronounced vein pattern (the black lines) and many more white dots at the edge of the wings so they are equally beautiful in their own way

Its wings are often used in jewelry and art displays
