Saying that there are some basics that you need to get started and we've put together this kit for those. It starts with a Japanese pressed steel tool box. These are a universal fit and will fit a wide variety of tools including both our Dart and Cruz tools hex drivers

Each side of the scissor is forged from a single piece of steel which means the handles are formed by drawing down a taper and then looping them over to form the handle

These are refered to as an "S" shape

We'll get some of the other sizes onto our testers and update our findings asap

These are our three favourite (and most used) digging hand tools - made available to buy as a set

The blade is made from heat tempered 2Cr13 stainless steel

That's just down to volume of production but we've seen it where the increase is just too much to be able to justify

Almost everyone loves the first light sprinkling of snow - until the practicalities set in
