Granite 2020Granite is made from Gamay grown on a hill outside Vauxrenard from 75 year old vines with very rich soil with over 10 different types of granites in the soil. As the name suggests, you can taste the granite soil in the wine. As always, handpicked semi carbonic maceration with indigenous yeasts on complete bunches in epoxy tanks, aged in oak barrels, bottled without filtering or adding sulphites. Appearance: Light Body, Berries & Pleasant Acidity

as it is made from a blend of equal parts of Grenache du Bois Saint-Jaume

It spends one year aging in 500 to 1500-liter barrels and is bottled without fining or filtering and no addition of sulfur

The wine remained in barrels for 5 years without topping up

For this wine Christian Tschida does a very light extraction with just a small amount of contact with the skins
