Vintage Hawthorne Felt Flag Pennant:: Vintage circa 1940s Hawthorne felt flag souvenir banner pennant. Possibly from the town of Hawthorne, located in Los Angeles' South Bay in California, where Mattel, Inc (the creators of Barbie) is located, as well as where Brian Wilson started his band 'The Beach Boys'. In nice condition commensurate with age, exhibiting light creasing with no tears and perhaps minor oxidation and or pinholes. Kindly reference photos for which of these may apply.
Full size measures 16" x 13" and cropped
brick red and light blue throughout
Multiple areas of stiffness due to glue on back
Some wear close to knot heads although most all the carpet exhibits even use
