When you live on an island

so I was eager to make this map

600 miles on foot and an average hike time of 6 months

plus landmarks like the Andes and Río Putumayo

who wakes up to the sound of a ferry horn

so I wanted to create a map of the country

Carr Inlet and Colvos Passage surround and connect the peninsula to nearby regions

This piece includes

I chose bright earth tone colors to reflect some of the rich colors of the country

I discovered several vintage books tucked in the shelves of the remote Holden Village library and created this schema of the moon cycles

and the equator horizontally
