Pernod PastisPernod Pastis is an anise flavored liqueur made in Marseille, France by Pernod Ricard. It has a complex bouquet of anise, fennel, garden herbs, carnations, and licorice. Pernod Pastis is oily, bittersweet, and potent when tasted neat, but becomes milky, soupy, and opaque when spring water is added. The finish is long and licorice like, with a bit of sweetness.
