Vintage circa 1900 antique rug, although some design elements hint to the possibility of being considerably older, particularly those found in the corner spandrels with perpendicular intersecting lines. Very soft and supple, highly decorative carpet! In original condition with minimal reduction to sides and ends numerous areas of darning and a patch. Worn on both sides as seen in photographs.
