SOLD...............A Palais Royal mother of pearl needle case. French c 1800A French mother of pearl needle case from the Palais Royal shops of Paris c 1800. It is carved with shells at either end and engraved with long leafy stems on the body of the piece. It has the usual decorative gilt band separating the top from the bottom. The inner sleeve is complete. In excellent condition no damage. 7. 5 cm long ( 3 inches ) 2 cm wide ( 0. 75 inch ) Stock no. JX14
