SOLD……..A silver filigree emery cushion . c 1800An emery cushion housed in a silver filigree basket dating to the first part of the 19th century circa 1800. The cushion is a faded purple velvet and sits in an oval basket with a folding twisted wire handle. There are no hall marks which is quite normal for light weight pieces of silver of this date and especially filigree. 3. 5 x 2. 5 x 1 cm deep. In excellent condition.

An early thread holder in the form of a case containing a multiple reel attached to the lid

It is a dark chocolate brown in colour and the finished article is hard to distinguish from wood

maker JEB (John Edward Bingham) for the company of Walker and Hall ( pennant logo )

In very good condition but with the usual light tarnish and some pitting to the steel

The thimble inside is silver with an applied scalloped rim

A pair of pierced metal shoe buckles with black suede inserts

The pearl is engraved with simple flower sprays and the silver spring cover is stepped and cross hatched

There is some surface marking to the original finish

A small goblet made from a coconut shell
