Antique silver pocket watch stand

Antique silver pocket watch standA charming antique, Edwardian, sterling silver fronted pocket watch stand. It has a sterling silver case to the front and is lined in a dark green velvet, the case opens up so the watch can be placed inside in the recessed area. The back of the stand has a leather covering and an easel stand so that it can be stood up and displayed. The case is fully hallmarked for Chester, 1904, Henry Matthews. Unmarked tests as 15ct gold pin is an old C type clasp made of base metal

It weighs approx 29

a few tiny dings to some links including one of the interlocking links which has been previously secured

The watch is unmarked

some age commensurate surface wear / scratches to the outer band

it has the juiciest deep red garnets set into a gold plated setting
