Antique Victorian paste cluster ring, gold and silverA gorgeous mid Victorian paste cluster ring. Bright red central paste stone claw set in gold with a halo of beautiful sparkling white silver paste stones set in sterling silver. The band is unmarked yellow gold testing at 9ct and has a slim side profile but a thicker width, noticed when looking down from the top, so a nice strong band. Overall the condition is very good, minor surface scratches to the band and some abrasions and nicks to the paste

The aesthetic movement began in the late 19th century and was a movement that favoured beauty and championed art for arts sake

the case has blue enamelled roman numerals to the front
