Berthaut-Gerbet, Echezeaux(from a . 20 ha holding in Les Treux, Quartiers de Nuits and Champs Traversin; 60% whole clusters). An exuberantly floral suffused nose speaks of both red and dark berries, Asian style tea and soft spice nuances. The succulent, round and equally caressing medium bodied flavors also culminate in a youthfully austere, firmly structured and balanced finale. Once again at least some patience will be necessary as this is presently quite tightly wound.

since up to 90% of its fruit comes from old vines (these are majestic plants from 80 to 135 years old) in the high-altitude Lamole area where Bibi farms five hectares
