Light Duty Cross Braces Center NotchedBest Cross Braces are made of kiln dried, knot free pine, and have a 13 16" profile and measure 1 3 4" wide. They are designed to brace the backside of your stretched canvas. Remember, paintings hang for years on end, so you want the best support to ensure tight canvas for years to come. If your painting is more than 36" we recommend adding a cross brace every 36" after that. Light duty cross braces should only be used with BEST Light duty Stretcher
