Antique Victorian (1837-1901) Gold Garnet BroochStunning vintage Victorian gold brooch. This fine brooch has four tiny sea pearls either side of a central stone. The gold colour of the brooch has a slight rose tint, and the stone is a 4mm Garnet. The brooch secures with an open 'c' clasp. This is in excellent vintage condition measuring at 4. 9cm in length and 1cm in width.

The garnet stone is set in a 9ct gold setting
it has been mistaken for gold and it also is known as Fools Gold
The stone hangs from a stirling silver 'V' shaped bail and oval ring
