high brilliance and play of color
In addition to the main chip it got a couple more at open sauce
These vials have a mix of both color types in beautiful transparent crystal fragments
But how do you make giant
Like all rubies they have a high hardness of 9
and it has the highest dispersion of any transparent gem material
This stone measures 23x21x19mm and weighs in at 45g--it is totally clean
Note a few of these had been semi-sorted by the jeweler but from what I can tell he got a lot of it wrong and I've mostly mixed it all back together
designed to help detect invisible radiation
The color shifts from pink to orange and often looks golden on camera for some reason
Under sunlight and cool LEDs it's a nice orange
Lithium niobate was also briefly used as a gemstone back in the 60s
