Antique Georgian seal fob pendant, quartz, largeA beautiful antique, late Georgian 9ct gold plated and carved quartz crystal seal fob. It is a very decorative seal with an elaborate chased and engraved style, scrolling arches and a bunch of grapes above the centre. The seal fob is made from bronze with a gold plating. This is perfect worn as a pendant or for hanging from your favourite Albert chain. Unmarked, early 19th century, c1800's. Condition: Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear
The snake ring was catapulted into popularity when Queen Victoria received a snake ring from her beloved Albert
once on the outer rim and when it opens up it is engraved boldly on the base
rich in history and functional too
It has a high profile from the finger at 5mm
the eggs are suspended from the pretty bow tops which are further suspended from ear wire fittings
This is one of the most extravagant examples I have seen and there is so much detailing on this piece you are not sure where to look first
