1930s Murano Glass PaperweightMurano glass paperweights date back thousands of years; born almost by accident, they were formed from scraps of colored glass that would otherwise have been thrown away. Over time, expert blowers have utilized several techniques to bring each paperweight to life, such as millefiori, murrina and lampwork. This results in intricate patterns and scenes formed of multicolored rods, beads and canes. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece
