Opal in Petrified Wood (Opalized Wood)Here we have an exciting piece of Precious Opal replacing Petrified Wood from the Java, Indonesia. This piece was mined in 2019. It features tiny spots of highly colorful Precious Opal which shows bright color flashes of red, gold, orange, yellow and green which have formed in brownish black Petrified Wood. The specimen is slightly polished rounded to help the Opal really shine. The Opal honestly doesn't need a strong light to show off the color, and

as most are etched and do not display such wonderful morphology as this one

These don't come along often and it is nearly impossible to replace because it's really a one-of-a-kind color combination that would be incredibly difficult to match
