SOLD……..A porcelain scent bottle with a horse racing theme. Late 19thcA porcelain scent bottle painted with a horse and jockey and with a jockey cap lid. The back of the scent has a horseshoe and the words 'Good Luck'. There are no maker's marks. It is in very good condition with just a little minor chipping to the glaze where the lid fits ( see photo ) It has a glass stopper. 7. 5 cm high ( 3 inches ) base diameter Just under 2 cm ( 0. 75 inch ) Stock no. KN14
Early 19th century Goan circa 1820
Height including the knob on top 4 cm
There is some discoloration to the silver paper but the leather is in good condition
These elegant scissors are in excellent condition with little sign of their age
It isn't hallmarked but tests to
11 x 6 x 4 cm with the swing handle bringing the height to 10cm
12 x 8 x 4 cm
A tortoiseshell knotting shuttle with silver inlaid ribbon swags
Examples in good condition are hard to find
the blade is the correct length and the spring works properly with a snap
A pair of lovely pearl cotton reel holders
The side is covered in gold tooled leather and the back has a disc of mirror glass
