Sailor's Home Caravelle 10 Year Old Irish Whiskey 700mlPart of The Islands Series from Sailors Home, Caravelle is a 10 year old Irish whiskey made from malt and grain, initially aged in bourbon casks before being finished in rum agricole casks from Martinique. This has imparted some vibrant notes of fruit and sweet sugar to the flavour profile, making for a delicious post dinner treat ABV 46%
Belvedere is exclusively distilled using Dankowskie Gold Rye and is additive-free and quadruple distilled for greater purity
The finish lingers with notes of ripe banana
almost fruitful notes followed shortly after with light hints of sweetness
Finish:Very smooth on the finish
clove and berry character
peach and honey with dried fig and ginger notes
enlivened with sweet pepper
Bodegas Matsu produces wine in the Toro region from very old Tempranillo vines
no doubt a result of the high merlot and cabernet franc composition
