A Dreema thimble. 19thc patent design. c1900A patent steel cored thimble called the 'Dreema' by Henry Griffith & Son Ltd c 1890. The Dreema was Henry Griffith's answer to Charles Horner's 'Dorcas'. There are a few others with different names Little Dorcas, Junior Dorcas, Doris etc. It was originally more more expensive to buy than a hall marked silver one as it is impervious to the needle. They aren't silver plated rather made up of three thimble shapes with the steel one in the middle. There

An unusual silver thimble with bright cut decoration above two band of further decoration plus a wavy edged rim
These are two small plaques which came with a lot of 19th century letter seals
