Fernet Branca 1LFernet Branca is a bitter, aromatic spirit made from of over 40 herbs and spices, including myrrh, rhubarb, chamomile, cardamom and saffron, with a base of grape alcohol. Fernet Branca is usually served as a digestif after a meal, but may also be enjoyed with coffee and espresso, or mixed into coffee and espresso drinks. It may be enjoyed neat at room temperature or with ice. Nice to see the real 39% alc vol.

A ripe but restrained sweet plum and raison flavour flows through the palate which is kept in check by a hint of acidity and some nice savoury tannins

This red wine is a "Super-Tuscan" blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Merlot
