WWII German Luftwaffe Great Coat for Other Ranks PersonnelWWII German Luftwaffe Great Coat for Other Ranks Personnel This is a late war example produced in blue grey wool that is very clean, with minor wear and a few tiny moth holes. There are a pair of hip pockets with angled flaps. There are French cuffs and a rear belt. It is double breasted, with two rows of six buttons that are blue grey finished pebbled metal. There are straps for slip on shoulder boards (none included). The interior is partially lined

They are straight legged and have a four button fly

These are finished in gray

dated 1944

There are a few spots of wear and some very minor discoloration only

The brown wooden handle has toned to a nice warm brown color

It has a textured light brown softcover that is in very good shape

Superimposed on this is a mobile swastika

including a great looking imperial eagle on the reverse

The rear skirt is stamped with the lor number DN 84

but his execution on 5 April 1945 shortly before the end of the war is unconfirmed and his fate is (supposedly) unknown
