Rare antique silver cross pendant, Large, Heavy, VictorianA rare antique Victorian silver cross pendant. This amazing piece is very large in size and very heavy, made of solid sterling silver nearly 70 grams! Made almost certainly for a clergyman (or lady) and worn as part of a vestment. It has fine engraved initials to the front of the cross along with a further engraved Cross and a bright cut Starburst design radiating out from the initials which are SH. It has an old C type clasp and pin fastener and is chunky yet hollow

some wear to the gilding moreso on the reverse

It has a bloomed gold finial designed as a horseshoe
