Mauro, Bierzo GodelloThe 2015 Godello was produced with grapes from a young vineyard planted in El Bierzo at 700 meters altitude. It fermented in 500 liter French oak barrels where it aged in contact with the lees for eight months, but didnt go through malolactic fermentation. It's sold as Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y Len. As it almost always is this is more refined than the Chambertin if less powerful and a bit less mineral driven
