Domaine Tawse, Gevrey Chambertin(from a combination of Murots, Etelois, Combes, Grandes Rayes and La Justice). An earthy and overtly sauvage nose offers up notes of both red and dark currant aromas. There is a relatively refined mouth feel to the detailed and attractively intense middle weight flavors that possess fine finishing punch and persistence. (87 90) 2020+

Terrific and worth a special search to find though be aware that this youthfully austere effort will required extended cellaring

The finish is quite gassy and a bit hard to read but my projected range offers the benefit of the doubt that the underlying material
