Victorian Circle Geometry BroochA remarkable antique brooch dating from the latter half of the 19th century, circa 1880. Eighteen gold wire circles overlap to create a striking, geometric pattern and the impression of 3D depth, as if you're viewing a translucent, ribbed cylinder laid on its side. The fact that somebody conceived, and indeed proceeded to make such a piece is somewhat unusual, and quite out of keeping with the typical jewellery trends of the period but here we have
