Abel Super 8 Fly Reel Camo

Abel Super 8 Fly Reel CamoA nice Abel Super 8 fly reel for sale, 4" diameter and in LHW. Serial #8655. While there is a line loaded on it and a line sticker on the underside of the foot, I can find no sign that this reel has ever been fished. Anodized in a green camo pattern with a large arbor design with heavy porting. The reel packs in the original box with paperwork and black cordura Abel pouch.

The reel and spool have edge wear to the leaded finish

Looks like only one tip was lawn cast with a hint of a cosmetic ferrule wrap crack but nothing on the other tip

The rod looks like it has been used less than a half dozen times

There are some slight marks on the foot but I could find no sign of wear on the rest of the reel anywhere (it does have a line loaded on it but I kind of doubt that it's been fished more than a time or two)

A very hard to find light line model here

The other starts at the base of the top guide and extends down 1 7/8"
