There is outstanding richness to the big-bodied and overtly powerful flavors that possess a suave mouth feel before culminating in a firm and persistent if slightly leafy finish

I would like more fruit for it comes across a little too austere

with emphatic mineral cut and excellent focus

Note that this is unapologetically built-to-age and a wine that is absolutely going to need it

There is more volume if less power to the more generously proportioned medium-bodied flavors that coat the palate with dry extract that also helps to buffer the moderately firm tannic spine
