Antique Victorian silver chatelaine scent bottleA gorgeous and unusual little miniature, chatelaine scent bottle. It is a globular shape with the original sterling silver cap and dipper. The scent bottle is attached to a lovely antique silver tassle chain and would look beautiful attached to a chatelaine or watch chain. Unmarked, tests as sterling silver, the dipper has signs of a hallmark but this has worn out completely. Late Victorian era. Condition: Very good used condition overall, lots of

some old remnants of glue but all stones original

It is very much like a negligee necklace but with three drops as opposed to two

it has a small split in the case to the top corner of one side

The case is fully hallmarked for sterling silver

makers mark is present but rubbed

The scent bottle is made from metal with a 22ct gold wash

albertina or Albert chain and would make a beautiful pendant

A very attractive pair with a nice interesting design with the tri colour gold
